Summer Tour 2002 News and Updates 11/7/01: Tour is still in the early planning stages. We are still looking for more bands to join in. Also, we need a name for this tour. So, send your suggestions either by e-mail or the guestbook. If you have any questions, suggestions, or want your band to be a part of the tour get in contact with us. 11/10/01: Band links can now be found on the pic page linked to their pictures. The links page will just be used for venue sites, music related sites, and bands who have yet to send a pic to link to. 1/14/02: On Jan. 12th, What About Cliff, My Cousin Walter, and Day 163 Held a show at CD Warehouse in Greensburg. It was a Summer Tour warm-up. And the show kicked ass. Day 163 would like to thank W.A.C and M.C.W for 1.) showing up and 2.) putting on a great show. If you have not seen these two bands live... what the hell is your problem. They FUCKING rock. Get off your lazy ass and go see them! Also, Bands visit http://www.sonicdrift.com. This site is great for indie talent. They will advertise your shows and cd releases, review your shows, etc. 1/28/02: New bands have been added to the tour, so check out the Photos page to see their sites. Things are coming along nicely, and we think we know how to go about planning this huge gathering... so all bands included in this, expect an email soon discussing some show set up options... 1/30/02: An email was sent to all participating bands... if any band on the tour did not recieve the email, please let us know! Our email address is day163music@hotmail.com The email was important and discussed booking info about the Summer Tour... so you really need it to know what's going to be going on! Also, if anyone has questions, comments, or suggestions about the email, let us know... 2/17/02: Not too much new news occuring with the tour... a couple of bands have been in touch with us about joining the tour, but nothing has been confirmed yet! 3/6/02: Summer is rapidly approaching and many of the places we've been in contact with have reservations about letting more than 3 or 4 bands play in a single night. Any bands involved having any suggestions, connections, or ideas should email us and let us know! 4/14/02: The custom page was added to the site which is going to be the shows page! Any bands using this site to connect to one another to set up shows should let us know so we can advertise on this site. We can't advertise every show every band gets, but the shows you set up with other bands on the tour will be advertised here! All bands involved in the tour should be contacting one another and linking each other to their websites... also exchanging email addresses so that when shows are available, bands can let other bands on the tour know about the openings! There's nothing wrong with helping one another out! 7/22/02: More bands need to get involved with this tour! We're not able to set up shows for every band on the site... so please help one another out... |
